1 negative : safety ; 5 x 7 in.

Arnold Genthe photographed this group portrait in 1930. The negative is held by the Library of Congress as part of a collection of roughly 20,000 items acquired from Genthe's unclaimed studio after his death in 1942.

Genthe worked in the soft-focus pictorialist style. He maintained a studio in San Francisco from 1896 to 1911 before relocating to New York, where he continued working into the 1940s.

The archive record does not identify the individuals shown or explain the group's connection to the name Gaston-Pinchot. The safety negative measures 5 by 7 inches.

Compiled from the catalogue record and reference notes on the formats and events involved. The archive record above is the primary source.
