Sisters Anna and Natascha Rappo were Siberian folk dancers. Based on the autograph and photographer, the photograph was taken and signed while they were in San Francisco for a performance. Photograph taken by Frederick Bushnell. Founder of one of the major West Coast photographic studio chains, Bushnell was originally an employee of Theodore C. Marceau. Bushnell established a chain of franchises, hiring photographers for the San Francisco studio, training them, and setting them up in various West Coast cities. Box 1 Folder 29
