Van Leuven family reunion

1890Public Domain

The Van Leuven family reunions were legendary at the turn of the century, often numbering a hundred or more members. The Van Leuvens, Frinks and other Mission Road pioneer families sometimes married, and the resulting clan had a significant impact on the local economy and government. This reunion, in about 1890, numbers about seventy family members. For additional information see California Revealed.
