Historical Portrait
Emile and Joseph? Berliner, portrait with unidentified man
About this photograph
This 1927 portrait shows Emile Berliner and a man identified only as possibly being Joseph Berliner. The photograph was created by Emile Berliner himself.
The uncertainty in the title reflects the archive's own cataloguing. The second figure remains unidentified beyond the suggestion of the name Joseph, and his relationship to Emile Berliner, if any, is not stated in the record.
No further information about the circumstances of the photograph, the location, or the identity of the second man is available in the archive's documentation.
Compiled from the catalogue record and reference notes on the formats and events involved. The archive record above is the primary source.
